Belle Aimée Dance Studio
Background:
In late August of 2009 we bought 18 acres and started designing a Dance Studio for me and a Contractors office for Dusty. We design the upstairs layout which included a large ballroom studio and also a two bedroom apt, downstairs is an office and shop with radint floor heat. Lifestyle Building & Renovations are the Builders on our project. Which is owned by dusty.
Here is a picture of the site..
Getting up to speed….
Ok, last August when Dusty and I bought the land we started right away with getting rid of all the dead trees and trees that would not be safe do to leaning or wild grape vines pulling them over on to the building site. This was a lot of work, as to the fact that one we did it all by hand and meaning him and I and a chainsaw and pruners. (Lol) Then we cleared the 500 feet and 20ft wide strip up a hill for the water and power lines. Next we dug 2 side by side 3 feet deep trenches down that space and laid hay and pipe. At one point in the hillside dusty had to take a 100 pound jackhammer and pound through a rock shelf. Dusty also sited out the septic leach field and dug 400 feet of that as well.
(Pictures of some of this below)
As everyone knows we had a lot of snow this winter so once that happen there was no movement.

Spring….
Now it’s spring and dusty and I realized over the winter that we were going to have to re-due the 400 feet of driveway because it was to steep and narrow. So we have started bulldozing the road and re-shaping. This is taking a little longer than we planned due to rain and clay. (I hate clay) But it is done and it looks great.
June is here..
Dusty and the workers just finished digging and laying the septic line to the building and he placed septic tank in. You should have seen Dusty put in the tank, that thing was big.
And last week they dug the post holes 26 of them. When it stops raining they will go in and will pour concrete.
